On Thursday, I missed my History clas to go to a FREE Hot Hot Heat show at The Grove. It was from some event called MADE in Canada.

After I came home, I downloaded the new NIN cd for FREE at their website!

Now I'm addicted to FREE!!

ANyone know of anything else that is free? Music, food, hugs... anything??? =]

Hey guys last night I hosted Mix Tape Mondays playing my "Best Songs to Play at a Party" mix. I was really nervous and you could tell by my voice. I had lots of fun. Darren was great and helped me out a lot. You guys should start submitting your picks for next Mondays theme "Best Punk Rock Songs." I got 6 awesome free cds and two tickets to see Death Cab for Cutie. Amazing.

I wished I would of gone to see Prince... holy moly PRINCE!! Also Vampire Weeekend, Datarock, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Cold War Kids, The Horrors... ahhhhh I should stop before I get depressed!

Yesterday I went to go see Scissors For Lefty @ Safari Sam's in Hollywood. My friend Charlie was supposed to go with me but due to some medical reasons, he couldn't go. This is where the Concert Buddies group would of helped but I was nowhere near a computer. I tried finding a last minute replacement with my cellphone but everyone was busy at work, doing hw or answer to my message way too late. So I went alone... hahaha.... loser! =] It's funny cuz yesterday I missed my last two classes of school. At Safari Sam's I went to the bathroom and when I got out, I felt someone tap me in the shoulder! Who was it you may ask? Hahaha, it was Toi, my sociology instructor...BUSTED!!! lol It would of been awkward if it was another of my professors... but she is soo cool and din't care about it! =] The show had 5 bands... besides Scissors For Lefty, I really enjoyed The Frequency and Oliver Future. Outside there was a promotion that u had to get ur ID swiped and get free CAMELS cigarettes. And they were also giving away free temporary tattoos. Scissors For Lefty was the last band to perform (midnight) and they were amazing. They were energetic, fun and the members where all over the stage and crowd. And everyone was dancing!! They gave away tickets to their upcoming shows, so I will be seeing them again April 27th at the House of Blues! Woot! Here are two videos of SFL from the show! Enjoy!

The Fratellis just released a new a song "Headcase" from their Budhill Singles Club Vol. 2 virtual album. The Budhill Singles Club is a series of virtual albums released by The Fratellis. The albums feature demo's, acoustic and live variations, and unreleased tracks. They are only available to registered members of The Fratellis' official website. Their second album Here We Stand, will be released June 10, 2008. Check it out.
