Did it really happen???? The NEW Guns N Roses album Chinese Democracy actually exists??? and some peeps heard it???
Nine 'mastered' tracks surface on the internet!!!!
Nine tracks from Guns N Roses' long-awaited 'Chinese Democracy' album have been leaked. The songs, reportedly "mastered [and] finished", were leaked on a site yesterday (June 18), but have since been taken down. Six of the tracks had been leaked in less completed states before, but three tracks have never been heard before, including 'Rhiad And The Bedouins' and 'If The World'. Some of the songs feature the group's trademark guitar bombast, while others include piano, orchestrations and flamenco influences.
The leaked tracks are:
'Better' 'The Blues' 'Chinese Democracy' 'Madagascar' 'IRS' 'There Was A Time' 'Rhiad And The Bedouins' 'If The World' '[Untitled]'
'Chinese Democracy' has been in the making since 1994, and has so far cost over $13 million to make. Only Axl Rose remains from the band's original line-up.
ok...sometimes it's waaaaaaaay easier to get your hands on something a rockstar touched RATHER than the actual rockstar himself...I know...reality sucks...but here's a shot at the next best thing to a brush with Green Day...

I'm guessing someone in Velvet Revolver let this rumor run wild...cuz they WISH they could get him...;0 CHESTER BENNINGTON: "I AM NOT VELVET REVOLVER`S NEW SINGER"
LINKIN PARK frontman Chester Bennington is denying rumors that he has been tapped to replace Scott Weiland as the new singer of VELVET REVOLVER. Bennington said, "I'm friends with all the guys in VELVET REVOLVER and have played with all of them before. I'm friends with Scott too. I think the rumour that I was going to join VELVET REVOLVER started because Slash asked me if I'd come play a show with them in Vegas right around the time that Scott left the band. Timing-wise, it didn't work out for me, though. Maybe people assumed that invitation meant I was joining the band." He did say: "If I wasn't in LINKIN PARK anymore and I didn't know Scott, though, I'd say yes," he says. "Who wouldn't? The music is great and it would be a really cool opportunity."
Radiohead's Eco-Friendly Concert Stunt Backfires
Rockers Radiohead were left with rows of empty seats at a recent concert after a eco-friendly stunt to give away tickets backfired. The Creep hit makers announced that 50 passes for their show at Paris' Bercy Arena would be given to those fans who collected them by bicycle from record label XL's office in the French capital. But the band's devotees failed to snap up the offer - leaving the band with band with 35 unclaimed tickets for their June 10th gig. A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Radiohead are using their current world tour to highlight their commitment to green issues. "They advise all gig-goers to use public transport and are doing all they can to make their carbon footprint as small as possible. "Unfortunately the French didn't appear to share their noble intentions and roundly ignored the free ticket tactic."
Amy Winehouse remained hospitalized Tuesday morning after tests on the troubled singer - who fainted in her London home on Monday - proved "inconclusive," a source close to the singer tells PEOPLE. The 24-year-old's father, Mitch, drove her to the hospital in his taxi after she fainted and nearly fell down a flight of stairs. Though she recovered quickly, her spokesman said she was examined as a precaution. Originally, she was expected to be released today. "Doctors want to get to the bottom of it before releasing her," Winehouse's London spokesman told PEOPLE. "There will be further tests and they will keep her under observation. She seems to be fine ... but they are taking their time to be sure." Meanwhile, in a new interview, Mitch admitted that his daughter's two-week rehab stint in January was a failure. "She didn't want to get clean then, but she's talking about it now," he told the U.K.'s Closer magazine. "She's nowhere near as bad as she was [then]. A nurse visits twice a day and we're kept well informed about how she's doing. She's making progress." Mitch, 57, said the singer wants kids with her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil - and will wait for him. "Amy understands Blake might have to do a long time in prison - she's not stupid," he told the magazine. "But she'll stand by him and he'll stand by her." (Earlier this month, Fielder-Civil pleaded guilty to charges of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.) Mitch added: "She wants kids and knows she can't be taking drugs, or the baby would be addicted - she wouldn't do that."
