One of my first rock concerts ever back in the '90s...ENTER METALLICA!! ;) Theirtour dates for the US have been announced. ...and the guys will begin an arena tour October 21st in Glendale, Arizona, in support of its new album, "Death Magnetic." The Sword will open all dates, with Lamb Of God, Down and Machine Head joining the bill on separate legs. Members of Metallica's Met Club and Mission: Metallica Platinum organizations will get first dibs on tickets, with on-sale dates to be announced. Good Monday mornin gang...EXCITING OLYMPIC SWIMMING ACTION & Dark Knight #1AGAIN...so lets do a weekend recap...but I'm not gonna lie...got only 4 hours of sleep after hostin that Koffeehouse Music Showcase at The Ford Amphitheatre last night...GREAT BANDS...seriously...please check my previous blog and google your soon to be new favorites!! Alright...first...no suprise...Dark Knight...STILL the #1 champ...bringin in $26 million and bringing its total take to $441.5 million - and making it the third top-grossing film of all time, surpassing the previous third-ranked Shrek 2...WOW!!
Also...I REALLY hope u are tivo'ing the Olympics action...the stories are SO inspiring...and the men's swimming race is especially cool...ESPECIALLY cuz last night (or whenever it happened in Beijing time)...Michael Phelps and his team BEAT the French and won the GOLD!! But my favorite part was Michael saying they really got fired up after hearing the French team talk trash about them!! That FUELED THE FIRE BABY!! and they won AND broke the previous record for time...gooooooooooooooo USA!!!
