Highlights of day three at Coachella

    ______________________________________________________________________

I attended only day three this year, and I have to say that the performance I looked forward to the most was that from Chromeo. I was definitely not disappointed. Coming all the way from the great white north (Canada) the two guys put together a show of up-beat dance songs that at times can make you feel like you're back in 1985. But keep in mind these aren't your average run of the mill pop songs. These guys have a funny personality that shines through their music and you can't help but laugh and dance to tracks like "Bonafied Lovin" and "Mommas Boy". Their new album Fancy Footwork is in stores now and I highly suggest you pick it up.

I hit up the Duffy tent to see what her act had to offer and was wowed by her enthusiastic attitude and vocal abilities. She hit a lot of bluesy ballads which was quite refreshing to take in after a slew of dancy bands that happened to play that same day.

Does It Offend You, Yeah? Is a great band from the UK that I've been a fan of for nearly two years but never got to see live. Another band known for synthesizer sounds and club beats. They were full of energy from the first to last song and managed to make me sweat during their set more than the deathly Coachella sun!! Check out their break out single "We Are Rockstars" if you're a fan of Daftpunk. You will not regret it!

Justice closed the night for me and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Under the Coachella stars 1,000+ people crammed under and around one tent going nuts over some of the best combinations of beats you can imagine ... this only scratches the surface of their performance last night. In case you haven't heard the duo from France, be sure to hear their cleverly named dance hit "D.A.N.C.E." along with a slew of other club hits they have put out over the last few years. Justice is all about having a good time and embracing the beat of the song and just letting go. Without a doubt they will leave you wanting more.

Can't help to feel just a bit jealous of you just right now. lol. I love all those 4 bands and I'm just glad you had fun. I will be seeing Does It Offend You, Yeah? in concert with Bloc Party in June so I'm excited for that! =]
